This study establishes a framework for assessing the progress of Lean Manufacturing Management Model (MGLM) implementations. Then, through a four-stage exploratory methodology, a bibliographic review is conducted of the digital cybertesis repository of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at the National University of San Marcos (FII-UNMSM) to identify the profile of digital theses that have implemented the MGLM in relation to the proposed framework. The results show that research focuses on process tools, prioritizing operational effectiveness and efficiency, but neglecting purpose and people tools. It is concluded that it is necessary to identify and apply tools to ensure organizational objectives, in addition to implementing process tools to understand, diagnose, and modify value streams, and finally, to train people and managers to improve performance.
