Chemotherapy-induced hair loss is one of the most common and distressing side-effects of cancer therapy. Scalp cooling has become an increasingly effective method to prevent hair loss. The aim of this article is to describe the process of design of a scalp cooling system to prevent chemotherapy-induced alopecia.
