The division of the collections of undivisible and heterogenous goods almost inevitably provoques the unequal distribution of the shares between the participants which make necessary the use of random methods of division. Klemens Szaniawski formulated two probabilistic principles of equality: equal opportunities for satisfaction; and equal opportunities for election. He demonstrated in a very simplified situation that there could be different conceptions of equality, which can get into conflict among each other; and with other requisites for the models of decision making. This way to comprobate and comparate the principles of distributive justice is actually dominating the theory of public election.
