Female patient of indeterminate age, native of Colombia, who for more than a decade presents a persistent picture of hypochondria terminology each time she corrects texts in the area of health. After careful examination, several causes were established that triggered this picture: naturalized use of lexical or syntactic anglicisms, impoverished writing due to the absence of articles or prepositions, or stubborn persistence on the part of the authors in maintaining their bad writing practices. Beyond considering that the English language has absolute predominance over scientific communication and that little or nothing can be done about it, but rather naturalize it or maintain the mental laziness that for some is the bread of every day, the article aims to relate, as a parody, how it was formed to correct medical texts, what tools to use, how to establish a dialogue with the authors in the area of health and, thus, prevent the repetition of such errors in texts written in Spanish.
