This research shows evidence of impact on Multiple Purpose Financial Companies (Sofomes) in Mexico, derivative financial reform implemented from 2014 by the President of Mexico. A qualitative analysis of changes in Sofomes regulated and unregulated, and a stress test of Sofomes regulated using macroeconomic variables such as interest rate and GDP is presented. The approach is quantitative, non-experimental and longitudinal design is used, the correlational method is applied. The results show qualitative impact on unregulated and lack of influence on the resistance. Available information that talks about the changes in Sofomes, does not provide all the scenario that led to the impact of the Financial Reform, they are in isolation. In addition, there is no publication in Mexico that focuses only resistance Sofomes, Banxico and CNBV not show any studies specifically of these organizations, if not that fall into the financial system.
