Abstract

The objetive of this work is to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on consumption patterns in Durango, México. Te results show that there was a significant increase in e-commerce and electronic transactions, people between the age of 15 ad 40 are the ones who make the most transactions; prior to te pandemic, 21% of the population had not carried out electronic transactions, since the start of confinement only 7% have nor used this method of consumption. The winning sectors are the sale of prepared food, the payment of basic services and entertainment. In relation to the type of establishments, local businesses have been the most favored.
