Introduction.
Moral harassment, also known as mobbing or psychological harassment, is an insidious form of violence that can manifest itself in various settings, particularly in the Healthcare and Defense sectors.
Methods.
A literature review was conducted, exploring this topic through databases and libraries, especially those of European universities, where it was studied in detail.
Results.
This phenomenon is characterized by repeated acts of harassment, discrediting, humiliation, or isolation directed toward a person with the explicit or implicit objective of undermining their emotional integrity, self-esteem, and, ultimately, their continued social or professional standing. Research, awareness-raising, and ongoing training on this topic are essential for creating healthy and sustainable environments, both individually and collectively.
Conclusions.
Addressing psychological harassment requires not only legal and administrative tools, but also a cultural transformation that promotes respect, empathy, and relational ethics as pillars of coexistence.
