The main thesis in this essay is the idea that, having entered into a new era marked by the use of nuclear energy and the detonation of the atomic bombs in 1945 in Japan, the human species went into an evolutionary crisis which -among other expressions- takes shape as an identity crisis whose main evidence is the absence of an Idea of Man. So to fill this empty niche -the compass without which every education attempt proves vain- it is necessary to search for possible connections between the various theories and knowledge facts directly addressing the structure of human consciousness: linguistic sign and conditioned reflex, perception and relativity theory, evolution and complexity.
