This paper explores the questions posed in the development of several artistic projects during my postdoctoral research, working with studies on memory and matter (concepts, metaphors, performance, improvement). I problematize artistic production based on the understanding that the observer is not independent of reality and that observation and experience are something that is built. On that premise, I explore the possibilities that memory and knowledge do not reflect the outside world only, but also an inner world, and I attempt to explore different possibilities to create empathy and affect the audience. The projects propose a reflection on the ethical aspects of human improvement and technologies such as ICC/BCI, pharmacology or digital tattoos, raising questions about memory and identity and possible next steps in the evolution of the human body through installation art. I explore the possibility of translating emotions directly to an object as a memory of a certain moment and affirm that, when emotions and memories are directly linked to the transformation of the body and visible to the outside world, when technology allows us to emphasize the perception of emotions on the skin, the border vanishes and leads to reflection and the alteration of collective behaviors.
