The management of university extension plays a fundamental role in the development and sociocultural transformation of the community of Universidad de Las Tunas, materialized in a national reference project that links artistic manifestations with prevention work. This experience promotes creativity, citizen participation as protagonists of their own development in the transformation of their daily lives, creates a culture of health and quality of life, and promotes healthy habits, responsible sexual behaviors and the formation of values, starting with the development of social practice itself. In this research, we show the results of implementing the project "Te doy una canción (I Give You a Song)" through action-participation. By using it to achieve a positive transformation in the communities, we aim to provide spaces that pay tribute to the formation of a university culture as an unavoidable element of an integral general culture.
