This article collects the interventions of four academic members of the panel Consideraciones intempestivas: guerra, paz y creación ("Untimely Meditations: war, peace and creation"), which was developed within the framework of the International Seminar Dispositivos Institucionales, Universitarios, Editoriales ("Institutional, University, Editorial Devices"), the first activity of the Chair 9 Wind-Critical Imagination, organized for the Andean Region by 17, Institute of Critical Studies. In this writing, different reflections are addressed about the importance of teaching recent history in educational contexts; the way in which the armed conflict has given rise to new processes of artistic creation and memory by communities of victims and artists, and how war strategies and mechanisms affect artistic processes; finally, this article deals with the way in which artistic productions communities of victims and certain professional artists make it possible to understand recent events.
