Abstract

MOURA, Daniel. A Text Full of Contradictory Practices: Performances and Methodologies to Include Gender Issues in Artistic Creation. Pensam. palabra obra [online]. 2021, n.26, pp.180-207.  Epub Feb 25, 2022. ISSN 2011-804X.  https://doi.org/10.17227/ppo.num26-13299.

This article, a mix between bibliographic review and action research. aims at methodological perspectives for work with Dance/Performance from the understanding that research in the arts, especially at the university level, requires specific methodologies that need to be looked at with more attention. This work is dedicated to teachers and students who find in the exercise of making, their methodologies that often do not fit exclusively quantitative or qualitative parameters. Therefore, from InvestiCreation, a Performative Research, and Genetic Criticism, I propose a look at artistic making from reflections on art and the shared experience in the room, in the construction of performances and methodologies that have as their subject the subjects of gender.

Keywords : gender; dance; performance; methodology; research.
