Abstract

REALES-MORENO, María Victoria  and  OSPINA-ALVAREZ, Teresíta. La experiencia corporal en el aula. Aproximación a una estrategia pedagógica pensada desde y con el cuerpo. Pensam. palabra obra [online]. 2022, n.27, pp.64-83.  Epub Dec 03, 2022. ISSN 2011-804X.

The body has been read in multiple ways and from different fields of knowledge. It has been closely related to society, culture, and, of course, the school where the body concept not only has been split but also has been waiting to be discovered and empowered. This reflection focuses on the schooled bodies, which are a resonance of the idea of social reproduction in Bourdieu's terms, and the process in those bodies that allows making a corporal and educa tional experience by picking up on Espinoza's question that investigates the concept of the body itself. We built a brief theoretical and historical framework about the body concept in education fields and traditional pedagogies that are established in corporal education to display a dialogue with the systematization of a pedagogical experience named Proyecto Soma "Red queen" implemented in José María Vargas Vila school (IED), exposing some aspects about how a body can be worked and understood inside the school. This reflection connected a theory and a pedagogical stra tegy and allowed us to go deeper into aspects such as corporal education, experience, and performativity by revea ling multiple possibilities of bodies in formal and academic training, creation, and appropriation of knowledge. Furthermore, we got closer to what a body can perform and represent inside the school and recognized the corporal experience as another way of learning, being, and belonging to the world.
