The use of blue agave in the region of Tequila for the production and commercialization of mescal wine has been wrongly considered by some researchers of the topic since the sixteenth century. This article will analyze the use of the land in the regions of Tequila, (Tequila, Arenal, Amatitán and Magdalena) to prove that the emergence of the crop of the agave was adopted in the first third of the eighteenth century.
