This article collects the known references of carriages that circulated by the viceroy-alty of New Granada and provides new documentation on the subject. Such content, within the framework of the Hispanic world, will have as objective to analyze the development of its body shop and to show the social transcendence of matter, since the carriage was one of the great fetishes of social distinction in the Modern Age, that affected so much politics, such as town planning, architecture or partying.
