This article states that various components of the sistema de intendencias designed for Nueva España, were applied to the government of the royal, ecclesiastical, and municipal finances in the Nuevo Reino de Granada. To demonstrate this, we describe the process that eliminated the jurisdiction of the Real Audiencia in the lawsuits of the Real Hacienda with the creation of the Junta Superior de Real Hacienda, we study the greater participation of the vice regal rulers in the management of the rents of tithes, and we expose the changes in the administration of municipal rents. In this way, it is shown that the Nuevo Reino de Granada was not alien to the process of constitutionalization of the hacienda designed by the crown and expressed in the regime of intendancies.
