Resumen

VELANDIA CASTRILLON, Francy Yovana. Active Women: Social and Political Agents, an Experience from the Local Initiative for Peace in Facatativá- Cundinamarca. Aleth. rev. desarro. hum. educ. soc. contemp. [online]. 2016, vol.8, n.1, pp.136-160. ISSN 2145-0366.

This article presents the preliminary results from the research: "Conditions and manners in the construction of political subjectivities for peace in young people of interethnic and feminists organizations from an intergenerational perspective". The research emerges from the systematization of the Local Initiative for Peace (ILP) in the municipality of Facatativá-Cundinamarca, so called "Active Women" which inquires for the configuration of these women as political subjects. Inside the ILP, this configuration is established from a variety of practices where women have the possibility of developing different types of functions and abilities in productive, religious, communitarian and social level. This has contributed to the development of peace construction processes that translate into personal and communitarian transformations.

Palabras clave : Practices; actions; empowerment; sisterhood; feminine political subject; genre.
