Resumen

VILLADA-RENDON, Paula Andrea. Poetical Languages from Silence: An Encounter with Experience. Aleth. rev. desarro. hum. educ. soc. contemp. [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.2, pp.138-155. ISSN 2145-0366.

Different authors have reflected on the crisis of experience in modern times, in which is conceived as an experiment and not as an experience arising from events and that generates astonishment and freshness. In this sense, this article bids us to think, from Jorge Larrosa's proposal, the concept of experiencing as "something occurring to us" which allows us to become aware of ourselves, others and the world surrounding us, and to generate transformations. Due to the overload of information and communications triggered by the current technological system; the rush, because of competition and the relentless pursuit for greater productivity, it is necessary to return to silence. Since it implies presence and attention, experiencing finds an opportunity to rise and to give way to openness, awareness and contemplation of everything that, unexpectedly and uniquely, gives meaning to existence while enabling us to acknowledge the presence of which who also question us. Wonder, imagination and dreams have a place in silence, and therefore, it is a must to recover other poetical languages as art.

Palabras clave : Experience; art; silence; transformation.
