The present paper is based on the experience of CINDE Foundation in the development of the project "Educational Parks: Public Spaces for Citizen's Exercise and Peacebuilding", executed with the support and funding of Sura and Bancolombia Foundations. The principal intention of this project was to contribute to the development of skills in leaders for the formulation and implementation of proposals favorable to the construction of peace and the exercise of citizenship. The training process was carried out for ten months, between June 2015 and April 2016. In this period, there were carried out experiential pedagogical meetings, formulation of communitarian initiatives, learning multiplication activities and construction of didactic material having as central axis the game and the recognition of the context. From this experience, meaningful learning emerged for the participants, CINDE, and the institutions that supported the process as well. This learning is presented at the end of the article as an important key to citizen formation and peace building.
