This article is based on the overview of violence related to the armed conflict t involving Colombian children affected by it. First, a reflection is held about the historical changes of the conception of childhood taking back its opacities and possibilities and then presenting the current discussion about childhood. Finally, addressed by the term childhood, we present the accounts and experiences of a girl who lived the Colombian armed conflict that, from her experience, gives us hope in the face of this reality.
