This article addresses some reflections to show how the formative exercise of practice in social responsibility developed at the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios and under the institutional educative model, allows students to approach to vulnerable communities. This way, it aims at proposing and participating in local development processes, where social innovation can emerge as a vehicle for such transformation.
