This article seeks to present a theoretical analysis about two fundamental topics: emotional education and education for peace. To this end, several research projects aimed at building peace from the school environment are presented, starting from the reality of the children to whom the armed conflict and other forms of violence have directly or indirectly affected their lives. From the results obtained by each one of the different researchers in the line of emotional education, education for peace, armed conflict and violence, some theoretical and practical contributions will be presented to make education a fundamental element in the construction of a world in peace.
