Abstract

ANTE, Catalina García  and  ZULUAGA, Mónica Lovera. Between Clouds the Daily Life of Early Childhood Education is Discovered. Aleth. rev. desarro. hum. educ. soc. contemp. [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.2, e13.  Epub Dec 12, 2020. ISSN 2145-0366.

This pedagogical report takes an approach to the daily life of the Nueva Roma Social Garden, located in the town of San Cristóbal in Bogotá, administered by the Caja Colombiana de Subsidio Familiar Colsubsidio, in partnership with the District Secretariat for Social Integration. The Garden cares for 287 early childhood girls and boys and is organized in the nursery, walkers, toddlers, and pre-kindergarten classrooms. It focuses on what happens in a day in the nursery which serves 10 girls and boys from 6 months to 1 year. To collect the information, 4 visits to the Garden were carried out, as well as an in-depth interview with the nursery teacher, and a focus group with families.

Keywords : early childhood; nursery; initial education; affective security.
