The work is ascribed in the regional history that gives account of its own dynamics that was generated in every region, for which the researcher took as point of departure a historiographical review of the business history and regional history for understanding processes of particular development; later on the review was conducted of notarial protocols , First and Second Tunja Notaries 1900 - 1930, under the perspective of establishing the type of company, the climate of consolidation and the impact on the "development" of the department. In the Departamento de Boyacá (department of Boyacá) societies and anonymous companies were formed to market products, for manufacturing, development of financial activities, road paving and improvement of agricultural production, thus, both merchants and merchant houses were the generators of resources that intended to market national and international products, and hopefully lead to changes in the production and consumption of the region products.
