The project about "Clause general prohibition of unfair competition in colombia" was carried out within "Hermeneútica Jurídica" a research group of the "Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga". It was developed after a review of national legislation, supranational law and doctrine, and it referred to the possible problems and questions that this topic and its interpretation could raise among the people involved. As a result of the research, the lack of knowledge in this area, justifies the importance of writing this document regarding the legal aspects in the general prohibition in disloyal competence. It is addressed to the public in general, law students, lawyers, companies,  entrepreneurs, and other people interested in this field, who have direct or indirect contact with the participation in the market. It provides specialized, clear information, and it supports their decision-making
