Abstract

VEGA DUENAS, Lorena Cecilia  and  HERNANDEZ JIMENEZ, Norberto. Corruption and gender: current panorama from the colombian case. rev.ces derecho [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.2, pp.161-183.  Epub Oct 12, 2022. ISSN 2145-7719.  https://doi.org/10.21615/cesder.6711.

This paper addresses the relationship between corruption and gender, considering the contemporary - transnational interest in delving into the phenomenon that arises from the fusion between these two categories, to respond satisfactorily in the fight against this scourge, whose effects may be more intense as a result of the gender roles and the decline of women as victims or the assumption of the quality of victimizers. With this objective in mind, we carry out a theoretical reconstruction to clarify the concepts addressed, leading to their concrete application by international organizations, especially in the field of their regulation. All this within the framework of local dynamics, to identify their correspondence with the global context.

Keywords : corruption; gender roles; prevention; globalization..
