Abstract

JUEGA SICARDI, Federico Martín. Discourses and Discordances. Revolution and Parody in Philosophy in the Bedroom. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2010, vol.1, n.1, pp.33-48. ISSN 2145-8987.

In a theoretical analysis of concepts 'parody' and 'revolution', the possibility of playing with similar semantic potency can be perceived. In this connection, one and other show an ambiguous relation about a pre existent model: if there is a dependency or inevitable anchorage, at the same time both concepts refer to breakthrough forms. In the same way, Philosophy in the Bedroom merges in this diffuse limit between modern and classical think, condensed in the revolutionaries events of 1789. Sade works is configured upon the idea of a parody tension, using the logic articulation of the revolutionary discourse during Terror's government.

Keywords : parody; revolution; discourse; discordance; representation.
