Abstract

SOLER GALLO, Miguel. Digging in the 'desván de los malditos': Some Notes on Mercedes Formicas. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2011, vol.2, n.3, pp.40-55. ISSN 2145-8987.

This article, which is named after a phrase coined by critic José Carlos Mainer when commenting on the Spanish literary Generation of 1936 ("El desván de los malditos"), explores Mercedes Formica's career from the perspective of her membership to that movement and her unfair removal from canonical Spanish Literature Studies. Although some critics have acknowledged some aspects of the aformentioned work, the present article ignores some of these papers in order to present a systematic approach towards her ouvre as a whole.

Keywords : Mercedes Formica.
