Abstract

DOBLES, Leonardo Sancho. UNA FLOR AL TIEMPO DEDICADA: CELIA'S VOICE IN THE POETICS OF SOR JUANA INÉS DE LA CRUZ. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.12, pp.62-75. ISSN 2145-8987.

This work analyzes the way in which the comedy House of Desires by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz establishes a dialogic attitude with other poems of the writer. As a particular reference, I will emphasize the voice of the maid, Celia, in the comedy, as well as in the sonnets dedicated to the 'rose' motif, to establish, finally, some ideas on the poetics of the novohispanic poet.

Keywords : House of Desires; Celia; sonnet; motif of the rose; poetics.
