Abstract

BOGADO, Fernando. LITERARY CRITICISM AND IMAGE: COMPARATIVE READING OF AQUÍ AMÉRICA LATINA BY JOSEFINA LUDMER AND PLAN DE OPERACIONES BY VICENTE LUY. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.17, pp.113-131. ISSN 2145-8987.  https://doi.org/10.25025/perifrasis20189.17.07.

Through an exercise of comparative reading between Aquí América Latina by Josefina Ludmer and a selection of four poems from Plan de operaciones by Vicente Luy, this article considers the insistence of the term “image” used in both books by Ludmer and Daniel Link (Suturas) as an important mark of the new methodological procedures in Argentinian literary criticism through its relaitonship with a set of statements from biopolitics and the new conceptions of the literary phenomenon assumed by these ways of reading, such as the notion of “postautonomy”.

Keywords : postautonome literatures; literary criticism; biopolitics; Argentine poetry of the 21th century; image.
