This work is based on the analysis of different textual forms closely related to the essay, which have been published in Facebook by writers and intellectuals widely recognized in Argentina. The proposed point of view is composed by a mixture of approaches considering the thoughts on the nature of the essay writing, the reflection on the author intervening in the struggles of a specific field of production, and the consideration around the formats of publication. The objective is to show fragmentary texts produced by writers appealing to different objectives and that oscillate between an aesthetic, metaliterary positioning, and a conjunctural one.
