Abstract

BONANO, Mariana. THE CHRONICLES OF LEILA GUERRIERO AND VOICE MODULATIONS. PERSPECTIVE, SUBJECTIVITY AND AUTOFICCION. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2020, vol.11, n.22, pp.100-111. ISSN 2145-8987.  https://doi.org/10.25025/perifrasis202011.22.06.

This article aims to examine the chronicles written by the Argentinian journalist Leila Guerriero collected in her bookFrutos extraños, considering the narrative voice that emerges on the textual surface. In this sense, despite of the fact that the chronicler is reluctant to appear in a significant number of Guerriero’s chronicles, an intimate voice and a confessional tone are evident in others. This allows to link aspects of the author’s writing to the gestures present in other current writers as María Moreno and Gabriela Wiener.

Keywords : Leila Guerriero; writers’ chronicles; Argentinian literature; narration; autoficcion.
