The EDUTIC research group belongs to the Vicerrectoría de Educación Virtual of the Universidad de Boyacá. This group Is responsible of the "Comparative study between open source virtual platforms and the property virtual platform of the Universidad de Boyacá". Its target is to identify the open source platform that adjusts to the virtual pedagogic model of Universidad de Boyacá, to improve the academic offer of the institution. The project is supported on the software quality models, of software engineering, just like the check of the quality standards to e-learning and b-learning education. In this moment the result is a set of formats to evaluate LMS in three dimensions: pedagogical model dimension, user dimension, and technical dimension.
