This article is part of the research project about promoting parenting skills for the development of Prosocial behaviors of children of 4 to 7 years old. It was carried out in the "Eje Cafetero" (Colombia) and also it is part of Colciencias program: "Senses and political practices of children and youth in vulnerable contexts in the eje cafetero, Antioquia and Bogotá: a possible way of strengthening democracy, peace and reconciliation through citizen training processes"

This is the result of the second phase of the project, which through semiestructured interviews described parenting practices in the early childhood used by families of two municipalities in Caldas.
