Abstract

This article presents how citizen thinking can be strengthened and especially the component knowledge of citizen competencies, through the implementation of instructional strategies, with the students of the ninth course B, on the subject of social sciences, the institution educational Anna Vitiello of the municipality of Patios, North of Santander, Colombia. Framed in the non-participative action research methodology, in this work the results achieved show that students can experience dense and formal knowledge, associated with the responsible exercise of citizenship, thanks to the implementation of activities creative activities that allow them to develop their ideas and criteria to analyze the frame of reference offered by the norm and encourage their commitment and social participation.
