Based on the analysis of four life trajectories of teachers in the municipality of El Paujil (Caqueta, Colombia), this paper proposes a discursive analysis in order to identify the features through which emotion is inscribed in their stories. Likewise, this analysis presents an approach to the way in which the teaching ethos and the self-enunciation of teachers are constructed. The constructions of the ethos demonstrated the imprint of the armed conflict on the image that the enunciators construct of themselves and of their collective of identification. Finally, it was concluded that the singularities and recurrences, regarding the construction of the ethos, are a change in the enunciation as a result of the scenarios and situations experienced by the teachers.
