Abstract

DUQUE OLIVA, Edison Jair  and  CARVAJAL PRIETO, Lina Astrid. Organizational identity and its influence on image: A theoretical reflection. suma neg. [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.13, pp.114-123. ISSN 2215-910X.  https://doi.org/10.1016/j.sumneg.2015.08.011.

This study includes a conceptual analysis of organizational identity and image from the early sixties to the last decade. It is found that both the image and identity have been sufficiently discussed in the literature as contributing to the growth and development of organizations, if handled the right way, or destroy the company if it is not managed on solid foundations. Finally, a model that relates both concepts and establishes how identity affects the image of an organization is presented.

Keywords : Organizational identity; Corporate identity; Image; Marketing.
