Abstract

FUENTES MEJIA, Cristina. Research in Education: From Teaching Practice to Epistemological, Ethical and Social Issues. Prax. Saber [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.11, pp.235-244. ISSN 2216-0159.

This paper presents considerations regarding education/research relationship. It was carried out a review of texts and authors who have discussed the term research as well as its educational implications. The reader will find some categories to start an approaching process to research practice in education, allowing him/her to think about his/her own condition: a. research in education and teaching practice; b. Researcher Training; and c. from epistemological foundation to the ethical and social act of educational research. The final part exposes some considerations being the result of an unfinished issue in an ongoing building of knowledge.
