Abstract

Introduction: The Nursing Program of the Cooperative University of Colombia in Bucaramanga, where deformation curriculum competencies leads to modify the traditional evaluation of training practices, for an evaluation to acquire the skills for problem solving and applicability of concepts in different contexts of their professional performance, the same way identify student difficulties in each training practice and develop improvement strategies for skills training. Materials and Methods: By methodological research with a quantitative approach is designed instruments formative assessment practices, checklist and rubric with proficiency levels and is performed by expert content validity based on the model and pilot Lawshe in training practice sites. Results: Through successive sessions agreement has been reached by experts with more than 0.8 content validity index, by reviewing some aspects of terms. Discussion and Conclusions: With input from the teachers involved in the implementation process of the instruments provides that prior knowledge induction and strengthens instruments practicality and manageability of them. With the designed, integrates qualitative and quantitative evaluation revealing students strengths and areas for improvement to provide comprehensive training process. The process requires psychometric validity to assess the validity of the instruments and their reproducibility.
