Abstract

Introduction: To identify the occurrence and perception of bullying among adolescents. Materials and Methods: A descriptive exploratory approach mixed, held in a public school in Senhor do Bonfim with 68 teenagers. We administered a semistructured questionnaire and analysis performed by relative frequency and content analysis. Results and Discussion: There was an average of 76.75% of adolescent victims of bullying, the majority of this violence occurred in the form of offensive nicknames, generating primarily feelings of anger at the perpetrator, these, in turn, were externalized or parents or muted victims indicated that the attackers as the main culprits for the acts of violence. Conclusions: Violence is present in the school, where bullying is one of the most frequent forms of violence. This phenomenon is perceived by students as something inherent to the everyday.
