TELMO ROMANO, Alice Queiroz y PIZZINATO, Adolfo. Migration of Women to Brazil: Intersections of Gender, Race/Ethnic Group, and Class. Trab. soc. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.2, pp.197-213. ISSN 2256-5493. https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v21n2.75072.
The article carries out a documentary review of studies published on the issue of female migration to Brazil. The studies were analyzed using the intersectional perspective, which includes different forms of agency and discrimination, based on the interaction of diverse modes of subordination, such as those related to issues of gender, race/ethnic group, and class. The results of the analysis showed that despite the increasing amount of research on the issue, few of the studies take into account the abovementioned markers from an intersectional perspective.
