The "Revista Latinoamericana de Psicología (RLP)" represents one of the scientific heritage of the academic psychologists community in the continent, it has a team of collaborators in different countries who carry out the editing, review, delivery, and printing of the magazine as well as constant contribution of researchers in the discipline who daily send us the empirical findings and reflections about scientific work that matters to them, so that, the final work of this highsync is accessible to readers in a free and open way, dealing with the imperative of socialization and commonality of scientific knowledge.

This journal's editorial position of methodological plurality, geographic diversity, and disciplining high-impact is reflected on the recurrent inclusion of the journal in the most important databases' circulation of science, the growth of their scientometric indicators and its use as a training forum of researchers and thinkers of psychological universe.

Taking into account this context, I assume with honor and aware of the great responsibility it entails, the edition of the "Revista Latinoamericana de Psicología", in order to continue and go more deeply into technological changes which have become for all science publications and have among others, the chance to get closer and closer to the Latin American scientific community in the different publication languages of the journal, Spanish, Portuguese, and English. It is my goal to contribute the consolidation of a strong body research, plural and integrated, the line-up of a disciplinary project which come up to the dynamics of psychology in the continental context, with the characteristics of Latin American realities.

The continuity of this purpose that RLP, in its more than forty years of uninterrupted publication designed as the compass of its work, it is not possible without the opportunity of building, always, on the basis of reached advances, while respecting the values that have characterized the journal, and renewing the invitation to authors, reviewers, editors, broadcasters, distributors, among others, to continue joining efforts and multiplying synergies around the publication that has accompanied and supported the project consolidation of psychology in the continent.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the previous Editors' management and to assure of the quality policies which have built altogether will remain immovable. Thanks to this hard work today we have the needed resources to support the editorial management, both at the administrative level, as in the essential academic aspects. In particular, I extend warm greetings to Dr. Marithza Sandoval who acted as managing editor while the transition period until my appointment as Editor assigned.

The immediate future makes us think about widespread access to knowledge over more places in the world, with the most imminent mandatory Latin American universities, and assisted in supporting of technological resources, go more deeply on relationships with research groups and academics, since personalized way they acquire the latest issue of the journal without temporary seizures, and by different means.

On the other hand, and in order to go more deeply on the discipline relationship and consolidation, the RLP will continue in the service of the collegiate bodies which group together psychologists and related disciplines in the continent, as a space for dialogue with the institutions which dictate the policies that impact directly the people of the countries as well as those related to professional activities of colleagues, and the processes of training, qualification, and arbitration of psychology.

Many are the achievements of Journals of science diffusion in Latin America, and challenging is the situation that the future presents us, working together will allow to give a good account of them. Thanks so much for your contribution to "Revista Latinoamericana de Psicología".
