CARTAS AL EDITOR / LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

The following are some of the congratulatory messages received by the Editor regarding the future indexation of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería in MEDLINE:

Congratulations on having your journal accepted for inclusion in MEDLINE.  Keep up the good work.

Richard Better (LSTRC Coordinator, Bibliographic Services Division, National Library of Medicine; USA).

We received the excellent news that our journal Investigación y Educación en Enfermería, after a rigorous evaluation, was included in the MEDLINE database, which is one of the most important globally. Until now, we are the first Nursing journal in the country to be included and the fourth in Colombia, after Biomédica, Colombia Médica, and Revista de Salud Pública. I am sending my congratulations and feelings of joy and pride to all of you who contribute to the quality and visibility of our work in health and -; especially -; to the Editor, Dr. María de los Ángeles Rodríguez, for her dedication, commitment, and persistence.

Sandra Catalina Ochoa Marín (Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Universidad de Antioquia - Colombia).

All the best! It is an excellent stimulus to continue with the effort to raise the scientific quality of the articles published!

Esther Gallegos Cabriales (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León; Mexico. Scientific Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

Congratulations, this is an important victory for Nursing and Health within the global context! This is recognition to the editor, the editorial team, reviewers, authors, and the responsible institution! The very best to all. With this achievement, Nursing is enhanced.

Isabel Amelia Costa Mendes (University of Sao Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing. Editorial Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

It is a great accomplishment for the Journal and for Nursing. Congratulations to those who contributed to this process, but especially to the Editor who has been doing beautiful work with the journal.

Neusa Collet (Universidade Federal da Paraíba; Brazil. Editorial Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

My congratulations for the journal's quality and success and my admiration for everyone's dedication and effort (editor, editorial team, reviewers, institutions, and readers) for making this reality possible!

Cristina García-Vivar (Universidad de Navarra; Spain. Editorial Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

Congratulations and allow me to share my joy for this meritorious recognition. I am certain this is only the beginning of a fruitful path in which we will continue keeping you company.

José Ramón Martínez Riera (Universidad de Alicante; Spain. Scientific Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

You have no idea how proud I am with this achievement; it is indeed good news to have a Colombian nursing journal in MEDLINE. You deserve it; these have been many years of work well done. Congratulations and wishes for your success.

Hugs.

María Elisa Moreno Fergusson (Editora de AQUICHAN, Universidad de La Sabana; Colombia)

Congratulations to you and to your team of collaborators; it is a very important accomplishment and of great transcendence for Colombian Nursing and for the region.

Gladys Eugenia Canaval Erazo (Universidad del Valle, Colombia. Editorial Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

This is an accomplishment not only for the Journal, but also for Nursing in Colombia and the world. We know the how complicated the path is for a scientific journal to arrive at this point! Undoubtedly, this result is due to the discipline, commitment, and pertinence the Journal has had since its conception. I wish to express my congratulations to the editorial team and to so many people who throughout the Journal's trajectory contributed their best to make sure today we have consolidated a scientific medium for publication of knowledge from the discipline, as well as from the Nursing profession.

Marta Lucía Vásquez Truissi (Universidad del Valle, Colombia. Editorial Committee Member of Investigación y Educación en Enfermería).

Receive my fraternal greetings and congratulations for this important achievement for our Faculty; in essence, for allowing visibility of our academic and research work that transcends borders and seeks to propitiate reflection of our nursing and its social responsibility. My recognition to María de los Ángeles Rodríguez for her commitment and dedication in this work carried out day to day.

Dora Lucia Gaviria Noreña (Faculty of Nursing, Universidad de Antioquia - Colombia).
