We wish to share with our readers the achievements made in the name of Acta Colombiana de Psicologia in 2016 in accordance with what was projected and thanks to the support of our institution and those who were in charge of the different activities and tasks of the journal: First, versions both in Spanish and English for the articles published in the two issues of volume 19 were presented, as well as a Portuguese version in cases where the authors sent their original document in that language. Second, the two issues of 2016 were published and made visible for this year, as well as the first issue of 2017 (volume 20) in order to comply strictly with the agreed periodicity. Third, our journal was relocated in Quartile 3 (Q3) of the Scimago Journal Country Rank (SJR) classification. Fourth, the journal participated in the first call for the evaluation of specialized Colombian Scientific Journals - Publindex, where Acta was located in category B. And fifth, the geographic coverage of contributions postulated and published in the journal continued to be expanded.

The present issue publishes international articles by researchers from countries such as Argentina, specifically from the National University of Mar del Plata; Brazil, from the São Francisco University, the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso, the University Center of João Pessoa, the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, the Federal University of Paraíba, and the Federal University of Rio Grande of the South; Chile, linked to the Northern Catholic University, the University of Tarapacá, and the University of Concepción; Ecuador, from the University of the Holy Spirit; Mexico, from the University of Colima; Spain, from the University of La Laguna; and Venezuela, from the University of Los Andes. Likewise, national articles by authors belonging to the Catholic University of Colombia, the University of Medellín, the Sanitas University Foundation, the University of El Bosque, the Industrial University of Santander, the University of El Rosario and the Simón Bolívar University are published.

We thank all authors, research groups and networks, referees, members of the Editorial Committee, the Scientific Committee, and the Editorial Board, as well as the team of translators, technical, methodological and statistical reviewers and proofreaders for their support and contri butions to the high academic and scientific achievement of the journal. In addition, we invite interested authors to send us their articles or bibliographic reviews to be postu lated for publication and dissemination in the journal Acta Colombiana de Psicología.
