In this editorial I announce to our readers that from now on we will give priority to the electronic version of the journal Civilizar Ciencias Sociales y Humanas to provide a means of faster and more efficient publication. In this regard the items that are already diagrammed will be published online.

In line with the policy of editorial excellence we are a communication channel for the international community, mainly contributing to the dissemination of research results. It will also be included in new editions unedited versions of research papers presented at conferences will also be included.

We continue in the task of securing international readers and authors; in this edition we have the participation of authors from countries of Europe and Latin America, such as Italy, Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Cuba. We continue to work to expand our horizons and soon we will have participants from China.

We are dealing with the difficult process of increasing the impact of our publications and continuing the positioning of the magazine internationally facing the ongoing process of the new publishing challenges.
