Anagramas Rumbos y Sentidos de la Comunicación has reached maturity regarding some of its publishing processes, as well as the consolidation of its academic trajectory. Fifteen years of reflection and discussion about communication are reflected in the fact that the journal is now linked to various databases, as well as in the broadening of the international spectrum of its collaborations.
To see the views of different Ibero-American researchers embodied in the journal is a challenge to keep betting on the task of call for and publish papers that qualify the endeavor of communication. The cultural and creative industries, the political communication, and the communication for development are some of the topics that the journal has been analyzing in depth in its latest issues.
Although making bets that consolidate the field of communication is still a challenge, it is essential that researchers are present to understand the new challenges and paradigms of social networks, and to comprehend the devices’ new media structures, in addition to the communicative practices that stem from them.
The communication told through Anagramas Rumbos y Sentidos de la Comunicación is a crossroads that bring authors and evaluators together to strengthen this community, and it is an invitation for this academic project to transcend barriers and reach a greater number of readers. This new issue of the Journal is an open letter so that those who are concerned with the thought of communication can tie in to find more senses to this area of knowledge.
We are now presenting this new issue of our publication to the national and international community as a contribution of the Faculty of Communication of the Universidad de Medellín.
