After seven years of careful work, of pursuing quality and of facing permanent assessment in order to get covered by databases and carrying out actions directed towards international visibility, the Publindex system has placed our journal in the A2 category. This is the highest category achieved by a journal in our university. This recognition will surely mean that we will experience a significant growth in the quantity of articles received, which will involve more workloads and a higher demand for efficiency in our processes; but it will also mean that we will have to raise the bar in terms of quality. We also hope to have more collaboration from our reviewers in this new stage that we begin with the ascent in the Colciencias scale.

As we have stated previously, we understand that these recognitions are extended to the whole faculty, the university publishing house and for the journal's collaborators, and it is a challenge that forces us to improve our work.

Diversitas: perspectives in psychology faces new challenges of international visibility; we have these challenges as a guidance and they involve that our contents have better recognition, and that Diversitas be more used by our researchers communities. These usages should be expressed in citations and in all the actions stemming from them for other academic and professional processes. We have a long way to go.

Last, in this path we have set for ourselves, we are forced to enhance our presence in scientific events, attended by both researchers and editors. We are also required to use all the technological advances in three axes: local, regional, and international.
