EDITORIAL

New Communication Technologies and High-Quality Scientific Edition

We understand that scientific edition today means developing web technologies that make our contents better and more accessible. Our readers want to see the information, easily access our contents and identify whether that information is relevant; this is why Diversitas will feature a new website created with our users in mind; the new website will have a search system that includes the full-text, which will enhance the possibilities of finding relevant information.

Diversitas' new website aims to improve diffusion of knowledge, and it will connect our contents with social networks, so that current and potential readers have a knowledge scenario in the journal.

These structural changes combine Open Journal Systems (OJS) with a user-friendly navigation interface with images, news, links and our knowledge, and we hope that it will contribute to show the quality review process of the journal, an image of sobriety and functionality that will enable us to introduce ourselves to international information systems - our next step.

With these changes, we intend to enhance the visibility of Diversitas - that is, to get researchers to use our contents frequently, which should translate into citations.

Diversitas is aiming for a website that is friendly towards students, lecturers and professionals; we want our contents to be shared among researchers and also among other communities, both within academia and outside. In that way, we want to create knowledge appropriation. With the new website, we want to use new technologies in scientific education. We hope to be able to count on you to divulge it when it is ready.
