The objective of this study is to propose the vehicles degradation monitoring in a company which takes part with a combination of roles in the supply chain, thru the availability indicator, a control limit based on the impacts on the economic result of the vehicles operation and considering the subcontracting influence. This proposal permits to identify the vehicles that impact positively or negatively on the entity economic result and thus the detection of opportunities for improvement. The classification of the impact of the vehicle is done by the graphical method through the Rationality Status Chart. The proposal application to a real fleet allowed to identify the vehicles that negatively impact the economic results. Concordance analysis is used to validate the results, obtaining an almost perfect degree of general agreement.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Las empresas operadoras de flotas de transporte pueden participar indistintamente con los roles operador logístico y comercializador en la cadena de suministro. El presente estudio tiene el objetivo de proponer el monitoreo de la degradación de los vehículos de una empresa que participa con combinación de roles en la cadena de suministro, con el uso del indicador disponibilidad y el límite de control basado en el equilibrio de los impactos de la operación de los vehículos en el resultado económico, considerando la influencia de la subcontratación. La propuesta permite identificar los vehículos que impactan positiva o negativamente en el resultado económico de la entidad y así detectar oportunidades de mejora. La clasificación del impacto del vehículo se realizó por el método gráfico a través del Gráfico de Estado de la Racionalidad. El análisis de concordancia se utilizó para validar los resultados, obteniendo un grado de acuerdo general casi perfecto.]]></p></abstract>
