Para el desarrollo de este texto, se trabajó con 100 estudiantes divididos en dos grupos del segundo año de la carrera de Psicología de la UNAM. A los participantes se les mostró la temática a través de material producido por los docentes, donde a la mitad se les presentó infografías, mientras que la otra mitad recibió la misma información con diapositivas. Todos los estudiantes realizaron dos evaluaciones: la primera se realizó inmediatamente después de finalizadas las exposiciones de la temática; mientras que la segunda evaluación se condujo un mes después de la presentación. Los resultados obtenidos por una ANOVA no mostraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en la primera evaluación, sin embargo, las personas que recibieron la exposición de los temas con las infografías mostraron una mayor retención un mes después, en comparación con el otro grupo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This research article explored the impact of using infographics on the acquisition and retention on the topic of schedules of reinforcement on university students. Two groups of psychology majors participated in the study. Both groups from the UNAM school. Half of the participants received a presentation of schedules of reinforcement based on infographics, whereas the display to the other half was without this educational tool. All students were testing two times: the first one was immediately after the presentation finished, while the second test was conducted one month later. No differences were reported during the first test. However, the students that received the presentation with infographics showed higher scores on the second test.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Neste artigo de pesquisa, apresenta-se um estudo cujo objetivo do artigo de pesquisa foi avaliar o impacto da implementação dos infográficos na retenção informativa dos do conhecimento de estudantes universitários. Para o desenvolvimento deste texto, participaram 100 estudantes divididos em dois grupos do segundo ano da carreira em Psicologia da UNAM. Os estudantes puderam conhecer o tema por meio de material produzido pelos professores, onde, para a metade do grupo foi apresentados os infográficos, enquanto a outra metade recebeu a mesma informação com slides. Todos os alunos realizaram duas avaliações: a primeira realizada imediatamente após o término das apresentações do tema; a segunda avaliação foi realizada um mês após a apresentação. Os resultados obtidos por uma ANOVA não mostraram diferenças estatisticamente significantes na primeira avaliação, no entanto, as pessoas que receberam a apresentação dos tópicos com os infográficos mostraram uma retenção maior um mês depois em comparação com o outro grupo.]]></p></abstract>
